Coroners
The role of an officer of county, district or municipality
holding inquest on bodies of persons who may have died by
violence or accident or of unnatural causation. Coroners are
also responsible for holding inquiry into cases of treasure
trove.
A coroner must be a barrister, solicitor, or qualified medical
practitioner who has practised his profession for at least
five years.
